02 / THE CROP CYCLE METHOD
Our proposed process is simple by design: preserve good agricultural produce, improve shelf life, and work toward predictable ingredient quality.
Build relationships with Jamaican growers and aggregators, including routes for suitable surplus and cosmetically imperfect produce.
Apply sorting, produce washing and controlled cutting appropriate to each crop.
Develop crop-specific drying controls, quality testing and traceability.
Qualify dried slices, herbs, flakes and future powders against commercial buyer requirements.
03 / THE OPPORTUNITY
Crop Cycle is being designed around a practical idea: usable Jamaican harvests should have more opportunities to reach manufacturers in the ingredient forms they need.
We are engaging buyers and farmers to shape the specifications, crop mix and capacity before commercial production begins.
